These are just some of this years outside babies. These one's are either stray's or feral. We feed them every day when we can and we clean the babies eye's etc. We are not a non profit. We have a GoFundMe but there has been nothing donated there in a long time. We live in a small Missouri town, in a trailer we own but in a park where people move in and out and abandon their pets along the way. Over the last 9 years we have saved over 40 cats. And those are just the one's that were brought inside. We also feed many other stray's and feral cat's as well. At any given time you can see our back porch covered in cats that are not ours but know we won't let them starve. We are one couple. We have no transportation. He walks everywhere that's needed store, work etc. Where we live the closest large store is at least a half hour drive away. I'm disabled and work on my good days, on our online stores, and he works as a cook/dishwasher in our local cafe, as many hours as he can get. We do what we can, when we can and even though we know it isn't we wish it was enough.
We have been belittled, called names and treated like we are bad people for caring the way we do. We don't care. Everyone has a purpose in life and for us it's seeing that we can ease as many that are suffering as we can. Cat's did not ask to be here. We bred them, domesticated them and than abandoned them without a care in the world. Sometime's it kills me the Christian's that look down on us for it, are these not God's creature's as well? Why should they just be left to starve after we brought them in, showed them love and than just decided we didn't want them anymore. How can people be so cruel to such an innocent and loving creature? And what does that say about how we are as a so called advanced species.
We do what we do because we care. And donation's are welcome but we don't depend on it to do what we do either. Where there's a will there's a way and we just keep going from day to day believing in that. We know in our heart's it is right and every day we wake up to one of these wonderful creature's giving us kisses and hugs, we know in our hearts they are thankful and that's all that really matters.
There are always lesson's to be learned. We waited to long to have Teddy and Sparky fixed. We live on a week to week basis. And most weeks we barely scrape by. This is the first time we've had babies because it was our own fault for not getting it taken care of. All of the males in our house are fixed at 5 months. This time bills etc took preference that and finding an actual ride to and from the vet's. These are Angel's new babies. She gave birth to 5 beautiful little one's on June 6th, 2016. You'll be seeing more of them in the weeks to come.
Meet some of our newest babies. Their mother's name was Cookie. We adopted her at the end of winter with no idea she was already pregnant. She gave birth to these 5 adorable babies. But at 2 weeks old she decided she did not want to stay. No matter what we did she found a way back out. Thankfully all these little one's were already on soft food. They are all growing big and strong. And for the moment live in one of our bathrooms. The past few days they have been being integrated with the rest of the house. So far quite a few of the bigger kitty's have already adopted them into the family.
As of right now we have only named 3 of the 5. There's Marbles and Snuggles and Monkey Girl. We have still yet to decide on names for the other two. One's the light beige and white one, he's a boy :) and the other is the Cali cat, she's a girl. We'd love some suggestions as you'll see in the next post these are not the only babies we need to figure out names for. One rule is we never name one of our babies a name of a baby we have had before.
If you live in our area, here in Hartville Missouri these are up for adoption. Please note we are very strict on who our babies go to. We want to know they will have a forever home and not be abandoned like we see way to often where we live. Also note our babies are all inside cat's, we will not adopt one of our babies to you if your just looking for a farm mouser.
Last month was a really bad month for us. We lost one of our Meow Cat's Chen. We rescued Chen's mother Cali in 2011. She was pregnant and alone and winter was getting ready to hit the Ozarks. She was our first rescue when we moved to Missouri. Chen died on May 12th, 2016 from a virus he got. We had taken Sparky and Teddy Bear to be neutered. When they got home Teddy was sneezing like crazy but we thought it was just the anesthetic. Turns out he brought something home and Chen was the first hit with it and the hardest hit. They were all sick for about a week and we had to feed them all antibiotics every 12 hours. Chen was the only one lost but he will never be forgotten. He was a sweet, shy and silly baby, that loved to nuzzle in daddy's beard and give mommy kisses. You will be deeply missed, save a spot for us in kitty heaven baby boy.
Hi everyone we hope you had a Merry Christmas.
We wanted to stop in and share our holiday with you.
We had all kinds of fun this year.
Mommy and Daddy were a bit strapped money wise but we all made the best of it and we didn't mind at all.
We got Christmas wrapped boxes, our favorite^_^
And mommy made us some homemade catnip pillows that we loved as well.
We had Christmas wrapped toilet paper rolls with yarn, so simple but sooooooo much fun.
And we had red and white yarn balls and paper chains.
Here is a bunch of photos mommy took of us playing.
Hi we stopped in to update everyone on how we are all doing.
All of our little ones are now out of trouble and growing fast.
3 of our boys are set to go and be neutered on the 21'st.
And everyone else is doing well.
It takes a lot for mom and dad to take care of us all.
And to help we have a store in their Zazzle store called Meow Cats.
Mom works hard adding new and cute things to our section.
All sales go to help all of us.
There is 23 of us right now and that's a lot of food and litter.
We try to do our part we love that we are adopted and now have a forever home. Check out all these really cool things we have in our store.
These would all make an awesome gift for any cat lover.

How time fly's when your having fun and not paying attention. These sweeties were born on March 1st 2015. Yesterday was their 6 month birthday. We now have 3 boys and 1 girl that needs to be fixed. The 3 boy's alone will cost us 195.00. That's 15.00 each for the office visit. 30.00 each to be neutered. 20.00 each for shots. We'd like to thank Trudy, her donation is the first to go towards getting this done. At the moment we have 23 rescue's. All of our males are fixed and none of our rescues go outside. Eventually we would like to have them all fixed, but funding it all is a big problem. Just getting through every month on food and litter takes every thing we have. Unfortunately where we live there is no help. No low cost unless you can drive at least an hour each way. Our town has a little over 600 and resources for TNR are nonexistent.
We have a GoFund Me and also a Paypal. We also run 3 online stores where we sell our design's on various different product. Sales from our store also help us to do what we do. Any help is greatly appreciated. Helping us Helps them and also helps that there are less babies being born without a home as well.

Our newest meow cats have been growing fast.
We have now named them all and they all a little characters in themselves.
There are the two boys Lil Smokey & Marley.
And the two girls Sunshine and Moonlight.
Lil Smokey was the first born and the first to do everything from eat, use the litter box, to giving mommy sweet kisses every chance he can.
Marley is the mouth of the group and Mrs Sunshine and Moonlight are the quiet, sneaky adorable love babies.
We love them all and have added them and a few of our other babies to a new set of 10 different photos to some of their products.
More to come real soon ^_^

Samson & Goliath are from the litter before last in our home. Their mother Faith was a stray that lived on our back porch last summer. She was as lovable as could be and we found she got along with all of our other cats as well. She would come in here and there and blended in just fine. Oscar had already adopted her before she was even pregnant. Fall came and winter wasn't far behind and she was ready to have her babies at any time. We knew if we left them outside the babies would never survive the winter. James made her a birthing box and she came in and her and all 4 of her newborn babies became part of our family.
In our house until we can afford to get all of them fixed. All of our males are fixed as soon as they are old enough. Faith had 2 girls and 2 boy's. These guys both turn 6 months old on the 28th. So on the 3rd of this month thanks to help from Luke's Legacy & donation's they are both getting fixed.
People don't realize how expensive taking care of these babies really can be.
For just these two guys it cost:
30.00 - 15.00 each for the office visit
60.00 - 30.00 each for the surgery
40.00 - 20.00 each for their shots
Total - 130.00 - 65.00 each
Females are even more expensive to have done.
The surgery costs 50.00 instead of 30.00.
Females cost 85.00 per cat.
On a household with a limited income this is just one part of doing what we do. Thank you to each and every one of you that has helped us along the way.
We could never take care of them the way we need to without all of your support and help.
Hi everyone it's been a busy week here with mommy adding our new YouTube Channel. Our oldest Blue has been sick. He's 17 years old and grand daddy to us all and we all love him so very much. He's been fighting and seems to be getting better the past few days. Mommy went out and got him some antibiotic's to help. She's also been having to give Sweet Pea some because she has a bit of a bladder infection. Mommy also put some cranberry juice in our water it sure tastes a bit different but we don't mind it to much. The antibiotics cost mommy almost 18.00 and than she found out she needs another 40.00 for Samson and Goliath's shots when they get fixed next month. Sometimes it all just adds up so fast and mommy and daddy can always use some help. We here try to help by letting her take these wonderful photos and videos of us all doing silly things. She than takes those photos and puts them on wonderful products in their Zazzle store. Like these :)
It takes a lot to feed, house, and take care of 19 rescue babies you can help to. Purchase any of our wonderful products and you help take care of us in the process.
Mommy takes more and more pictures every day and we don't mind at all if that means we always have food, water and all their lovin.
Please check out our Meow Cats Collection section in our Zazzle store.
